The Build

One system, built or finished, into production, used by the people it was built for. Twelve weeks.

The Build is a twelve-week, fixed-scope engagement in which Fulkerson Advisors builds one AI system, or finishes one you have started, and puts it into production, with the measurement to prove what it changed and a named owner on your team who can run it without us.

Who it's for

  • Work that runs on senior people's hours today.

How it runs

  1. Week 1

    Baseline measured. Data access confirmed. The test the system's answers will have to pass, written down.

  2. Week 3

    The stop point. Either the system is on a path to production, or we tell you it isn't and refund the remainder.

  3. Week 6

    The smallest version that does real work is live for a first group, with the security review running alongside.

  4. Week 12

    Rolled out, measured, handed to your owner. We step back on a date set in advance.

  5. Every week

    A demo to the sponsor. No steering committees.

Getting it used is part of the job

We work beside the people who will use the system, starting with the most respected skeptic on the team, until it is the easiest way to do the work. We measure use and the quality of what the system produces, because use on its own proves little.

Terms

How pricing works

Fixed fee for the twelve weeks, agreed before we start. The week-three stop point is a term of the contract: if we conclude the system should not go to production, we say so and refund the remainder.

What we need from you

  • A sponsor who can make decisions weekly.
  • One engineer or operator who will own the system after we leave, from week one.
  • Access to the data and environments in week one. Access granted in week five is a twelve-week plan that starts in week five.

What happens next

What we don't do

We don't staff contractors into your ticket queue and disappear. We don't ship systems we can't measure. We don't hand over to a team that has not worked in the code with us.
